David Kozal DDS
My history in dentistry goes back as far as I can remember. My father Richard was a dentist and I started working on my high school summer vacations in his office. I would work in the laboratory where I could learn and refine skills so that one day I could become a skilled dentist.
In 1984, one of the happiest days of my life finally came. I was accepted into the Chicago College of Dental Surgery at Loyola University. I was poised to finally follow in the footsteps of my father who was a graduate in 1961 and later a clinical instructor at the same school.
From 1984 through 1986, I had privilege again to use my summer vacations learning dentistry. This time I was working for the American Dental Association in the "Council of Dental Material, Instruments, and Equipment". I was able to learn and understand first hand, the properties of dental materials.
Upon my graduation in 1988, I set off to work in my father's practice, which was one of the best. You see, he was a full colonel in the United States Army Dental Corps, President of the Chicago Dental Society in 1983, Vice President of the American Dental Association from 1984-1985 and Executive Director of the International Pierre Fauchard Academy from 1985-2009.
In 1996, I had the golden opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream and open my own practice in my hometown of Palos Park, where I am still practicing today. From the moment that you call my office, our team is ready to kindly greet you and listen to your needs. You can be assured that we will build a lasting relationship with you as we are suiting your individual dental needs. Whether those needs are a simple dental cleaning or a complex restorative procedure, we will understand and fulfill those needs to completion.
Now that I have been practicing for close to 25 years, I am continuing to meet the new challenges and innovations of dentistry in the 21st century. Along with my new fiance, Kimberly Krubeck DDS, we gain and share insights and knowledge to further help our patients needs.
